Course Design & Layout

The course consists of two nine-hole sections, with a varied combination of par-3, par-4, and par-5 holes. The layout takes advantage of the natural terrain, incorporating changes in landscape and strategically positioned hazards to create a distinctive playing experience.

The par-3 holes test distance control and accuracy, while the par-4 holes demand consistent driving and well-positioned approach shots. The longer par-5 holes provide opportunities for aggressive play, although bunkers, sandy areas, and other hazards can punish poorly executed shots.

With multiple tee options, the course accommodates golfers of different abilities while retaining its championship character from the back tees.

Ruby Course: Front Nine (Holes 1 – 9)

The Ruby Course introduces golfers to Diamond Bay’s distinctive coastal environment and strategic design. The opening stretch combines par-4 holes with longer par-5 challenges, requiring players to establish a reliable rhythm off the tee while carefully considering their approach angles.
The par-5 second and third holes provide early tests of distance and course management. Players must decide whether to pursue the green in fewer shots or adopt a more conservative strategy that prioritizes a favorable position for the next shot.
The fourth and sixth holes, both par 3s, provide shorter but precision-focused challenges. Accurate club selection and control over trajectory are important when targeting the greens.
The remaining holes on the front nine feature a mixture of par-4 and par-5 layouts, testing driving consistency and approach play. The ninth hole, a par 4, provides a challenging conclusion to the opening half of the round.

Diamond Course: Back Nine (Holes 10 – 18)

The Diamond Course continues the course’s varied layout with a combination of longer holes and precision challenges. The tenth hole opens the second half with a par 4, followed by the par-5 eleventh, which rewards careful planning and effective distance management.
The twelfth hole is a par 3 that requires golfers to focus on accuracy and green positioning. The following par-4 holes place greater emphasis on tee-shot placement and approach strategy, particularly when hazards influence the safest route toward the green.
