Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi -Halong Bay - Lan Ha bay.
With almost three days spent in Halong Bay, our 3-day 2-night cruises are the preferred way to see the bay. Enjoy a wealth of excursions that fully explore all the different activity options in Halong Bay, including spectacular caves, island climbing and floating village visits.
It takes only about 2.5 hours from Hanoi's Old Quarter to Tuan Chau Harbor where the Orchid Premium Cruise awaits you. Round-trip transportation is on request with additional surcharge.
8:30: You will be picked up at the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta on the way to Ha Long.
11:30: Arriving at Tuan Chau Marina, have check-in procedures and enjoy a cup of tea at the waiting lounge.
12:15: Transfer to Orchid Cruises by a tender boat. Welcome onboard! Enjoy some welcome drinks and gather at the restaurant for a cruise briefing and some safety instructions.
13:00: Have lunch while cruising into Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay - one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.
14:15: Progress to Trung Trang Cave by bus on Cat Ba Island which is located in the middle of Cat Ba National Park with Kim Giao Forest around the cave.
Trung Trang Cave located in Trung Trang Valley, which is 15km away from the northwest of Cat Ba Town. The cave is 300m long through the mountain, possessing a mysterious beauty due to the geological tectonics in million years along with many historical vestiges. The cave has many stalactites with different shapes that stimulate human imagination and amaze visitors.
17:00: The cruise enters a less populated area at Tra Bau – Lan Ha Bay. Enjoy a nice swim in the green, emerald water.
18:00: Onboard you may join a cooking demonstration and enjoy the Happy Hour (buy 1 get 1) at the bar while watching the view of the bay at sunset.

19:15: Savor a fusion dinner made with the freshest ingredients in a sophisticated space with elegant French neoclassical style and traditional oriental touches.
21:00: It's time to admire the beauty of the night on the bay, the bar on the sundeck and in the restaurant always welcomes you. You may want to try your luck with squid fishing or watch a movie in the restaurant. Chess and cards are also available for your entertainment. Overnight on board. -
Day 2: Lan Ha bay - On cruise.
06:30: The day starts early onboard with Tai Chi session on the sundeck.
07:00: Breakfast is served in the dining room with morning view of bay’s landscape, then continue your journey.
08:40: Transfer to day boat to explore Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island. You will take the bicycle trip along the village path and pedal through rain forests and dark tunnel. Enjoy stunning scenery of rice fields on the way. Stop at the village to relax. Visit an ancient local house, made from straw, mud, bamboo... You will have chance to see the local life on a valley of local people.
Optional electric car service is available (at an extra cost).
11:00: Back to day boat for visiting Lan Ha Bay.
12:00: Lunch will be served on boat.
14:00: Visit Ba Trai Dao (Three Peaches islets), this peaceful body of water has beautiful scenery, making it the perfect place for scenic kayaking or relaxing on a sandy beach.
17:00: Return to the cruise. You may join a cooking class, take a swim at the untouched area, or enjoy the Happy Hour (buy 1 get 1) at the bar while watching the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin.
19:30: Fusion Dinner is served. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by your wonderful onboard catering staff. This is a delightful meal in an intimate romantic setting.
21:30: Enjoy the landscape of the bay at night up on the top deck. Relax whilst enjoying drinks from the bar. Try your hand at night squid fishing, watching a movie in the restaurant. Overnight on board.

Day 3: Lan Ha bay - Hanoi.
06:30: It is a perfect time to refresh and indulge yourself in the peaceful beauty of the bay with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck. If you want to hunt for dawn, get up from 5:30 to 6:00 A.M depending on the season, and consult the sailors.
07:00: Have breakfast at the restaurant while continuing the cruise.
07:45: Kayaking activities in the Ao Ech area are held to discover the hidden charm of Halong - Lan Ha Bay.
08:30: Back on board and it is time for checking out.
10:00: Enjoy a delightful brunch at the restaurant while cruising back.
11:30: Disembark the cruise at Tuan Chau Marina.
Then make your return trip to Hanoi by car

Day 1: Hanoi - Lan Ha bay.

11h30: Arriving to our Orchid Cruise’s lounge, here you will be welcomed by our lovely cruise members to do check-in procedures.
12:15 Transfer by tender to the main Orchid Cruise.
12:30 We welcome our guests onboard, here passengers can enjoy our special home-made welcome drink. Guests will be seated in our restaurant to receive their cruise briefing & safety instructions.
We start cruising and exploring Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay - one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.
13:00 Enjoy lunch at our tables which offer a view to the amazing limestone karst formations, rising out of the sea.
15:00 Orchid Cruise enters a less populated area at Tra Bau - Lan Ha Bay. Enjoy a nice relaxing swim in the green emerald water and have kayaking activities here.
17:00 Returning to Orchid Cruise, you may join a Vietnamese traditional cooking class with some insights of Vietnamese dining culture. Our chef and staff will instruct you in making traditional dishes of Vietnam. 19:30 Sumptuous Dinner is served. Experience a delightful meal in an intimate romantic setting - take the time to enjoy our delicious local food prepared and served to you by our lovely caterers.
21:00 Try your hand-skill at squid fishing or watch a movie in the restaurant. Relax on the top deck & have a drink. Watch the calm and soothing landscape of the bay at night.
23:00 Overnight on board. -
Day 2: Lan Ha bay - Hanoi.
06:15 Why not rise up early in the morning to witness he bay at its very best time to participate in our Taichi class?
6:45 Upon completing breakfast, we continue our journey and head out to explore the bay further.
07:45 Orchid Cruise will visit Sang Toi Cave, where you can experience the cave through kayaking activities or on a bamboo boat. Dark and Bright (also known as Day and Night) grotto is not only known for the stunning limestone structure at every turn but also for the interesting natural habitat.
09:30 Orchid Cruise welcomes you back on board and it is time for checking out.
09:45 Whilst cruising back you can enjoy a delightful brunch in our restaurant.
10:30 Join the last Tea Ceremony with our crew team before departure! Learn how to make, drink Vietnamese tea and understand how Vietnamese tea has been of influence to Vietnam’s culture.
11:30 We return to the quay side in the south of the bay, where our visitors disembark. We bid farewell at GOT ferry, this is the end of the program.
14:00 Back to your drop-off point in Hanoi. End of the trip.

Policies
PAYMENT METHOD
We accept online payment by credit card with ONEPAY, a secured payment gateway for Master Card, Visa, and American Express. We will send you secured payment links once you accept this method.
You can also choose payment by Bank Transfer, Western Union. Please, kindly note that the payment fees are not inclusive in price.
You can choose to pay the remainder of your balance by cash or credit card at our office in Hanoi or Halong Bay. For credit card payments, a 3% bank fee is added for each transaction.
CANCELLATION POLICY
1. Services are cancelled by the client
In case a tour is cancelled by the client for any reason, the following fees should be paid:
More than 45 days prior to check-in No cancellation charge
From 45 to 10 days prior to check-in 50% of total price
10 days prior to check-in or No-show 100% of total price
This fee scheme counts for all services booked at Orchid Cruises. Refunding the client is done by banking transfer; the party who cancels pays the banking fee.
2. Services are cancelled by Orchid Cruises
Orchid Cruises will only cancel the contract if dramatic problems like natural disasters, epidemics, political problems, etc., may occur. In this case, clients will be refunded the total sum of booked services. Should there are any rising services during that time, clients will pay basing on the actual amount.
Cancellation by weather conditions (controlled and informed by local authority)
Without prior notice, the cruise trip could be postponed, shortened or cancelled due to unexpected bad weather, including storm/ typhoon (summer), cyclone, thunder storm, foggy days (winter), monsoon (winter)… The cruise operation is out of Orchid cruise’s control under these weather issues.
Before tours start from Hanoi city: Refund is made in full
After guests arrive in Halong Bay: Tour cost based on completed service: meals, transfer, day boat trip only, the rest will be refunded
Guests are staying on board, trip is shortened: Tour cost based on completed service: trip length, meals, transfer, activities…, the rest will be refunded.
REFUND SITUATION
All cancellations must be received in writing, sent to us via email. Before a determination regarding a refund can be made, all cruises documents must be returned to Orchid Cruises. All refund requests pertaining to cruise and other service are subject to final review by Orchid Cruises.
In case of tour cancellation by bad weather, refund will be made fully or partly based on service that has been delivered to customers before cancellation.
Please note that refund does not including service fee for payment by credit card or online payment.
No refunds will be made for unused services or no-shows. It is up to 15 days for any refund to appear in your bank account statement.
HOW TO GET AN INSURANCE
Insurance on board is purchased for passengers due to the requirement of Vietnamese law, and it covers only the basic accidents so we strongly recommend you purchase your own insurance before departing for Vietnam and before joining the cruise with us.
DOCUMENTS FOR TRAVELLING
Service Voucher will be compiled after the deposit has been received and sent to guests prior to departure. These documents will be sent via email, and should be printed out by participants and retained as a receipt.
It is the guest’s obligation to obtain a valid passport, visas and public health documents, travel insurance for your travelling time in Vietnam.
BELONGINGS AND PERSONAL PROPERTY
In general, customer’s luggage is sent directly from habour to the boat and back by our transfer service. Thus, all of your valuables, fragile or perishable things including your electronic devices (computer, mobile phone, Ipad, digital camera…) money, passports should be kept by your side, in your hand bag. Orchid Premium Cruises will not be responsible for any loss or damage with these things stored in packed luggage. Others like clothing, footwear or bulky items you can put in your checked baggage.
Flammable and dangerous goods, such as firearms, ammunition, firewood, weapons, etc. are not permitted on boat.
When onboard, personal items of value can be stored at the reception. Ensure the receptionist or duty manager acknowledges receipt of your valuables.
In case of loss or damage, you need to report to us immediately and we will check and solve the problem together. Orchid Premium Cruises are limited in our liability for customer’s personal belongings.
For the missing items, our staffs always take care of this issue and report any missing after cruise. If you forgot your items on board, please give us specific information of your stuff, we will find them and make every effort to return items left on boat to the owners. You can receive lost items at our office in Hanoi or we can send them directly to you and you will pay for shipping costs. We are not responsible for any missing items reported after you returned home or moved to other destination.
RESPONSIBILITY
Once we confirm the reservation with you, all possible care is taken to ensure that the services supplied maintain the highest possible standards and follow what we describe in the itinerary. However, we are not responsible for any problems arising from the booking or services that we do not directly control.
Please pay attention to your valued properties. We have no responsibility for the loss or damage of luggage due to the delay, accident, natural disaster or political actions, except for the properties kept in our security boxes at our reception desk on board.
We have no responsibility for any mental or physical injury, illness, loss or death when such damages were neither the result of a physical injury to the Passenger, nor the result of that passenger having been not at actual risk of physical injury, nor intentionally inflicted by us.
If there is a dispute among a passengers, Orchid Cruises and/or a third party, Vietnamese law will be applied.
