Day 1: Hanoi - Halong Bay.
With almost three days spent in Halong Bay, our 3-day 2-night cruises are the preferred way to see the bay. Enjoy a wealth of excursions that fully explore all the different activity options in Halong Bay, including spectacular caves, island climbing and floating village visits.
It takes only about 2.5 hours from Hanoi's Old Quarter to Tuan Chau Harbor where the Ambassador Cruise awaits you. Round-trip transportation is on request with additional surcharge.
11:30: Arrival in Tuan Chau Island – Ambassador Cruises Private Pontoon.
11:45: Welcome drinks and snack, cruise information and check-in.
12:15 - 13:30 Lunch will be served while Ambassador cruises toward Halong Bay. You will pass the famous Fighting Cocks Islet, and Thien Cung and Dau Go Caves.
14:30: Your first stop of the day is the magnificent Sung Sot Cave, where you can take in the panoramic views across Halong Bay after visiting the cave.
15:30 - 16:30: Cruise to Ho Dong Tien area. Afternoon tea on the sundeck. Enjoy a spa treatment* or pamper yourself at sundeck swimming pool.
17:30 - 18:15: Cooking demonstration on the sundeck.
Anchor at Coconut Tree Island for overnight stay.
17:45 - 18:45: Happy Hour on the sundeck*.
19:15: Dinner is served at the restaurant. Savour a delicious dinner at President's Restaurant or chooses a special spot anywhere else on board to dine. After dinner, indulge in drinks and squid fishing, a spa treatment. You will spend the night on boat.

10:30 – 10.45: Return to Tuan Chau Marina.
11:00 – 11:30: Meet your driver, leave Halong Bay for Hanoi.

Deposit & Payment:
- A deposit of 30% of the tour price per person by credit card or bank transfer plus bank charges is required upon confirmation of your booking (if this amount is less than US$ 500, the full payment will be applied).
- The balance will be paid 15 days prior to the check in date, or you can pay us upon arrival in cash or credit card when we meet in Hanoi.
- Deposit or full payment could be settled via our secured online payment system (SSL).
Refund & Cancellation:
• Cancellation will be charged as follow:
- From 1-3 cabins:
+ 3 days prior to the arrival: No charge.
+ Less than 3 days prior to the arrival: 100% of the total rate charged.
+ No-Show: Will be charged in full.
- From 4-6 cabins:
+ More than 14 days prior to the arrival: No charge.
+ From 14 to 7 days prior to the arrival: 50% of the total rate charged.
+ Less than 7 days prior to the arrival: 100% of the total rate charged.
+ No-Show: Will be charged in full.
- From 7 cabins or more:
+ More than 45 days prior to the arrival: No charge.
+ More than 45 to 31 days prior to the arrival: 25% of the total rate charged.
+ From 30 to 21 days prior to the arrival: 50% of the total rate charged.
+ From 20 to 10 days prior to the arrival: 75% of the total rate charged.
+ Less than 10 days prior to the arrival: 100% of the total rate charged.
+ No-Show: Will be charged in full.
• Cancellation charges apply for each cancelled number of confirmed cabins
• Cancellation must be sent to and confirmed by Vietnam Travel's cruise specialist in writing (by email or fax).
Child Policy (to be confirmed upon reservation and subject to availability):
- Child 5-12 years old: US$ 65 for 01 Child from 5-12 years old is charged (sharing bed with parents) for 2 days/ 1 night program.
- Child 5-12 years old: US$ 150 for 01 Child from 5-12 years old is charged (sharing bed with parents) for 3 days/ 2 nights program.
- US$ 25 is a surcharge if an extra bed is required for FOC child in 2 days/1 night program.
- US$ 35 is a surcharge if an extra bed is required for FOC child in 3 days/2 nights program.
- Only 01 child under 5 years old and 01 child under 12 years old are allowed to share cabin with parents.
- FOC sharing parent's bed is applied to only 01 child under 6 years old.
- Extra bed for 01 child 5 - 12 years old: 40% of the double room charge will be applied.
- Single cabin rate is applied for child if occupy 01 cabin.
- FOC baby cot for infant (subject to availability).
Other Policies:
- Check-in time starts at 11:30 AM. Check-out by 10:30 AM.
- Charges for extra guests may apply and vary according to property policy.
- Advance registration is required with full name, date of birth, nationality, gender, passport number and visa expiry date for all passengers. A valid passport is required upon check-in. Otherwise, boarding may be denied by the port authority.
- A cash deposit, credit card or debit card for incidental charges and government-issued photo identification/ passport are required upon check-in.
- Special requests are subject to availability at the time of check-in. Special requests can't be guaranteed and may incur additional charges.
- Extra bed is subject to availability for adult only at 50% charge of DBL/TWN cabin rate.
