Day 1: Hanoi - Halong - Bai Tu Long Bay.
Starlight Cruise is the newest member in The Luxury Collection of the Oriental Sails Co., Ltd. This five-star cruise features 32 spacious cabins with at least 22m2/each and becomes the most enjoyable way for those who wish to explore Halong Bay in grand style. With Starlight, cruising on the World Heritage Site is more than just a touring experience that we offer – it’s a passion that we are delighted to share with you.
09:00-09:30: Pick-up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (on your request) and start the two hour-and-a-half drive to Hon Gai Tourist Wharf in Halong City, check in Oriental Sails’ private waiting hall – The OS Lounge.
12:15-12:45: Embark on Starlight Cruise by transfer boat. Listen to cruise briefing and receive room key.
13:00-15:30: Savor a delectable lunch as Starlight Cruise sails further along the limestone islands of Bai Tu Long Bay, heading to Vung Vieng fishing village - one of the largest fishing villages in Halong Bay to see the life of local fishermen.
– Option 1: Take a bamboo rowing boat trip around Vung Vieng Fishing Village.
– Option 2: Take kayak and go kayaking by yourself with help and instruction of tour guide around the floating village.
17:30-18:00: Return to Starlight Cruise and have bath then relax as the sun starts to set. Enjoy the Happy Hour at the bar and on the sun deck while cooking demonstration is organizing.
19:00: Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests, night squid fishing or just laze around. Singing and dancing activities are available till 22h00: Overnight on board at Cong Do Area. -
Day 2: Explore Bai Tu Long Bay by day boat.
06:30-07:00: Start your day with Tai Chi exercise on the sundeck. Enjoy a cup of coffee or refresh yourselves in majestic Bai Tu Long Bay.
07:00-08:00: Have breakfast in the restaurant.
08:30-15:30: Discover Bai Tu Long Bay by one-day itinerary on our professional day boat.
– Cruise toward Tra San, Vung Ha Island where you can go kayaking, and catching beautiful sights and enjoy the wild, bewitching nature with many limestone islands, lovely small beaches.
– Have lunch on the day boat at Vung Ha area.
15:30-17:30: Transfer back to Starlight Cruise. Have dinner and night activities on board.
Spend the second night on board at Cong Do area. -
Day 3: Bai Tu Long Bay - Hon Gai - Hanoi.
06:30-07:00: Start your day with Tai Chi exercise on the sundeck.
07:00-09:00: Catch morning view of seascapes with a cup of tea or coffee, have breakfast while cruising toward Thien Canh Son Cave. Visit Thien Canh Son - the medium size and less visited cave in Bai Tu Long Bay.
09:30: Check-out room. Luggage can be delivered to the reception area.
09:30-11:00: Head back to the Hon Gai Harbor. Have early lunch on board. Disembark Starlight Cruise at around 12:00 P.M.
12:00: Your driver is awaiting for you there and transfers you back to Hanoi (transportation service on your request).

Policies
Deposit & Payment:
- A deposit of 30% of the tour price per person by credit card or bank transfer plus bank charges is required upon confirmation of your booking (if this amount is less than US$ 500, the full payment will be applied).
- The balance will be paid 15 days prior to the check in date, or you can pay us upon arrival in cash or credit card when we meet in Hanoi.
- Deposit or full payment could be settled via our secured online payment system (SSL).
Cancellation & Refund:
• Cancellation will be charged as follow:
- From 1-5 cabins:
+ More than 4 days prior to the arrival: No charge.
+ Less than 4 days prior to the arrival: 100% of the total rate charged.
- No-Show: Will be charged in full.
- From 6-10 cabins:
+ More than 10 days prior to the arrival: No charge.
+ From 10 to 4 days prior to the arrival: 25% of each cancelled cabins charged.
+ Less than 4 days prior to the arrival: 100% of the total rate charged.
- No-Show: Will be charged in full.
- From more than 10 cabins: Please check with our travel consultants for more information.
• Cancellation must be sent to and confirmed by Vietnam Travel's cruise specialist in writing (by email or fax).
Child Policy:
- Child(ren) below 6 years old:
+ Only one child under 6 years old stays free of charge when using existing bed with two adults (sharing meals with parents).
+ Child under 6 years old pays extra bed rate for meals if request for separate menu.
+ Two children (or maximum 3 children) under 6 years old must be paid for an extra bed when sharing the same room with two adults.
+ Two children under 6 years old must sharing the same room with an adult: price as a single cabin and only pay for an extra bed if requested.
- Child(ren) from 6-11 years old:
+ Maximum one child from 6 to 11 years old is allowed to share existing bedding with adults. Child pays US$ 80 per person per night (double occupancy sharing).
+ Two children below 12 years old stay in a separate cabin, and pays 80% of a cabin (double occupancy sharing).
+ One child below 12 years old stays with an adult, 90% rate of double cabin will be applied.
Extra Bed Policy:
- One adult sharing a double/twin cabin with two other adults must pay for an extra bed.
Bad Weather Policy:
In the event the cruise is affected by bad weather, the cruise company reserves the right to cancel all or parts of their cruises services. Following charges may be applied:
- Cancellation before 11:00 o'clock at cruise date: Full refund for the cruise package but transportation will be charged (if any).
- Cruise is canceled and guests have meal (lunch) only (no cruise, no overnight, boat stays in the harbor): US$ 10 per person.
- Cruise is canceled and guests have meal (lunch) and round-trip transfer Hanoi - Halong only (no cruise, no overnight, boat stays in the harbor): US$ 10 per person + transportation.
- Day cruise (3-4 hours cruise, no overnight, lunch on boat): US$ 45 per person.
- Day cruise (3-4 hours cruise, no overnight, lunch on boat, round-trip transfer Hanoi - Halong Bay): US$ 45 per person + transportation.
- Only for 3 day/2night cruise program:
+ Complete 2 day/1 night cruise and back to shore before 10.00 A.M of day 2: the cruise rate of 2 day/ 1 night package is charged + transportation (if any).
+ Complete 2 day/ 1 night cruise and use the day boat and back to shore before 17.00 of day 2: 75% of the total price of 3 day/ 2 night cruise package is charged + transportation (if any).
Other Policies:
- Check-in time starts at 13:00 PM. Check-out by 10:00 AM.
- Charges for extra guests may apply and vary according to property policy.
- Advance registration is required with full name, date of birth, nationality, gender, passport number and visa expiry date for all passengers. A valid passport is required upon check-in. Otherwise, boarding may be denied by the port authority.
- A cash deposit, credit card or debit card for incidental charges and government-issued photo identification/ passport are required upon check-in.
- Special requests are subject to availability at the time of check-in. Special requests can't be guaranteed and may incur additional charges.
- Surcharge for New Year Eve (31 December): US$ 30 per adult and US$ 25 per child from 6-11 years old.
- Cruise itinerary is subject to change, with or without prior notice, depending upon tide and weather conditions.
- Promotion or Early Bird comes with tight booking conditions and they will be notified separately by Vietnam Travel.
