L’Amour Junk
Our L’Amour Junk is designed in the style of the traditional sailing boats and was the first small deluxe one-cabin junk in Halong Bay. It is an ideal option for a couple on a romantic trip.
She is designed with sophistication and a meticulous attention to every single detail, for our guests’ enjoyment, especially their viewing pleasure. During her construction, every effort was made to enhance our customer’s holiday experience. The ensuite room has a big sea view window and the outside dining area is a perfect place to observe the natural landscape while cruising.
From the moment you step aboard and check into your cabin, to when you are relaxing on the sun deck, you are surrounded by handcrafted teak and oak furnishings. You can relax in comfort on our traditional boat and will receive a warm welcome from our crew while enjoying many interesting activities.
After boarding the L’Amour Junk, you are given the maximum of privacy during your trip. Our staffs are on call when you need them or leave you to enjoy the bay. The food service during this trip is also a highlight of the whole experience.
The L’Amour is perfect for either a romantic getaway, or to celebrate a special occasion.

DAY 1: HON GAI HARBOUR – BAI TU LONG BAY – THIEN CANH SON CAVE
7.30 – 8.00: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter area.
12.00 – 12.30: Embark at Hon Gai International harbor.
12.30 – 13.00: Check-in, enjoy welcome drink & cruise briefing.
13.30 – 15.00: Have lunch while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long bay; admire the fascinating formations on the way.
15.15 – 15.40: Explore the well- hidden Thien Canh Son cave.
15.45 – 18:00: Enjoy relaxing on a white sandy beach at Hon Co island, swimming or kayaking.
18:00 – 19.00: Back to junk for refreshing before having dinner on board.
20.00 – 21.00: Relax, enjoy fresh air & overnight on board.

DAY 2: VUNG VIENG FISHING VILLAGE – HON GAI HARBOUR
07.30 – 08.00: Morning view of Bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast in the fresh air.
08.30 – 09.30: Visit Vung Vieng fishing village by a rustic row-boat.
10.00: Check out of the cabin. Start cruising towards the harbor while an A la carte lunch is served.
11.45 – 12.00: Disembark. Drive to Yen Duc village in Dong Trieu province.
14.00 – 14.30: Enjoy water puppet show performed by local artists.
14.45 – 17.30: Arrive in Hanoi. Trip ends.

08.00 – 10:00: Cruise to Cong Dam while discovering geological values of Bai Tu Long Bay.
10:00: Enjoy kayaking through the hidden lagoons and geological park in Cong Dam
12:00: Have BBQ lunch on a wild beach
13:30: Back to junk for relaxing while cruising to Cong Do area.
16:30: Arrive at Hon Co Island to explore the well- hidden Thien Canh Son cave
17:30: Return to the boat and cruise back to Cap La
19:00: Have dinner and overnight onboard

06:45: Have breakfast on board while cruising to Vung Ha area

Yen Duc is a beautiful Vietnamese village on the way from Halong Bay to Hanoi, which can provide many cultural experience and Vietnamese local life in rural area. Within 5 hours tour in this village, you can get a glimpse of village life and delicious Vietnamese cooking dinner. The tour has included shuttle bus transfer with cruise, dinner in village, farming activities, water puppet show and English speaking tour guide during 5 hour tour in village. Price for Yen Duc village 5 hour tour: 54 USD/person (sharing option)
12:00: Disembark from cruise at Hon Gai harbor and transfer to Yen Duc village.
13.30: Arrive in Yen Duc village, enjoy a water puppet show which performed by local artists. Cycling around the village to visit the culture house of village then a local house in the village for a warm talking with the host. Experience the farming activities such as: harvesting and planting vegetables, fishing with the traditional basket, milling and pounding rice…
17.15: Relax in the fresh air and enjoy homemade Vietnamese cooking dinner.
18.50: Fare well and return to Hanoi

DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION
A deposit of 30% of the tour price per person by credit card or bank transfer plus bank charges is required upon confirmation of your booking (if this amount is less than US$500, the full payment will apply).
The balance will be paid 15 days prior to the check in date, or you can pay us upon arrival in cash or credit card when we meet in Hanoi.
- Deposit can be settled via our secured online payment system SSL (Deposit),
- Cancellation will be charged as follow:
+ More than 15 days prior check in date. No charge.
+ 7-14 days before check in date: 50% on total value of the trip charged.
+ Within 1-6 days before check in date: 100% on total charged.
+ No-Show: 100% on total charge.
Cancellation have to be sent and received by cruise specialist of Vietnam Travel in writing (By email or fax)
CHILDREN POLICY & EXTRA BED
Child under 4 years sharing fully paid cabin with parents: No additional charge, limited to one child per cabin (for sharing or charter option).
For sharing option*:
– Child from 4 to 12 staying on separate bed: charge 75% adult price.
– Child from 2 to 6 sharing fully paid cabin with parents, if order meals: cost 30USD /child (for 2D1N), and 70 USD/child (for 3D2N) for wooden boats OR 80USD/child (for 2D1N), and 150 USD/child (for 3D2N) for the Dragon Legend Cruise.
For charter option**: child from 4 years will be charged as adult.
