Day 2: Hanoi – Drive to Sapa.
Meet your local guide at the hotel lobby then spend about six-hour scenic drive from Hanoi to Sapa on the Vietnam’s longest and modern highway with a comfort stop at the half way. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel then take an orientation walk around the mountain town of Sapa which is situated at 1,520 meters above sea level.
Sapa is oriented to make the most of the spectacular views emerging on clear days. It overlooks a plunging valley, with mountains towering above on all sides. Views are often subdued by thick mist rolling across the peaks, but even when it's cloudy, local hill-tribe people fill the town with color. Here, you can experience four seasons in just one day – bright spring in the morning, sunny summer at noon time, chilly fall in the evening, and sharp winter in the night.
Accommodation: Hotel in Sapa.
Day 3: Sapa Discovery.
After breakfast at the hotel, descend the valley on a trail through rice paddy terraces, enjoying the spectacular scenery on the way. Once reaching the narrow river running on the bottom of the valley, you will walk along its bank for a while and eventually arrive at the Black H'mong minority village of Y Linh Ho. You will get a first-hand look into their lives and traditions, hear stories, and enjoy a great social interaction. Take a rest and then head to the Muong Hoa Valley. You will pass through Lao Chai Village of Black H’mong minority and Ta Van Village of Zay minority by following more rice terraces with spectacular mountain scenery. Emerge on the main road to meet your driver for a transfer back to Sapa Town.
Meals: Breakfast, Pinic Lunch.
Accommodation: Hotel in Sapa.
Day 4: Sapa – Hanoi – Fly back to Manila.
Spend the whole morning at your leisure or exploring the town yourselves. You may like to experience cable car ride to Fansipan Peak (optional - ticket excluded in the tour package): The world’s most modern three-rope cable car system, Fansipan Legend, was opened to public use on February 2016.
At the inaugural ceremony, representatives from Guinness World Records presented a certificate recognizing the system as the world's longest three-rope cable car (6,292.5 meters). The facility was also named the three-rope cable car system with the world's biggest height gap between its departure and arrival stations (1,410m). The cable car system stretches from Muong Hoa Valley in Sapa Town, Lao Cai Province to the peak of 3,143-meter Fansipan, known as Indochina’s rooftop. Passengers used to spend two days climbing to Fansipan Summit, but now it takes only 15 minutes thanks to this system. The dream of reaching Indochina’s rooftop, which used to be hard to do, becomes easier for everyone. As soon as you reach Fansipan Station in an altitude of 2,800m above sea level, 600 stairs await for you to climb up to the summit. Standing on the top of Fansipan, it seems that you are enjoying a life on heaven. Surroundings are range of mountains and cloud only. And then you return the station for a ride back to Sapa.
Start: 7:30 A.M – End: 17:30
PRICE: Adult and child (taller than 1.3m): 30 USD/ person; Child: 20 USD/ person.
At 15:00, leave Sapa for Lao Cai City, where you will visit Coc Leu Market and Ha Khau Border Gate before driving back to Hanoi’s International Airport.
