Detailed itinerary of Cu Chi Tunnels Tour (half-day)
Start with a pickup from your hotel in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City. Heading out of town to Cu Chi Tunnels (75km far from the downtown). Along the way you will pass by the scenic local countryside, where you might even spot ducks and buffalo cooling off in the river. After about 90 minute car ride, you will arrive in Cu Chi Tunnels, where you will explore the sprawling network of underground tunnels, covering more than 155 miles (250 kilometers), contained a virtual subterranean city of living areas, kitchens, field hospitals and command centers that once housed thousands of Viet Cong fighters.
Upon arrival, watch a short documentary video about what life was like for soldiers who lived there during the war.
