Maya Cruise
Launched in 2017, Maya Cruise is known as one of the most luxury cruises on Lan Ha Bay. And this unique 4-star plus cruise caters the top-notch services on the schedule of Cat Ba Island, Lan Ha Bay & Halong Bay. Maya Cruise was designed by Dutch experts. It is the first cruise system to be built using the double bottom double module module, according to Dutch Damen Group standards, using corrosion-resistant zinc rods, lightning protection technology, compliance with International standards for ensuring safety by sea.
Each cruise has 15 cabins will promise a great luxury quality with modern facilities and furnitures. With a large area from 47 to 74 square meter, connect with specific play yard. All cabins are designed with open space with the aim to bring the most comfortable and the closest to the nature.
With different itinerary route to Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba Island as well as Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay, Maya Cruise will bring passengers impressive experience and be the highest class luxury one. In addition to, visitor also join different activities including kayak, swimming, visit floating village, caves, go fishing with farmers, ect.
Its most impressive is from Hai Phong to Halong Bay route, visitors will be sailed through an area like the estuary with mangrove forest, the scene is completely different. DAY 1: HANOI- HAI PHONG – LAN HA BAY – HA LONG BAY
9h20 – 09h40 You will be picked up from Hanoi Old Quarter to take the highway to Got Port, Haiphong where we arrive at around 11h30
12h00 Transfer by tender to the MAYA CRUISE. On the way to the main boat, you will have a chance to see Cai Trap canal.
12h15 We welcome our guests onboard the MAYA CRUISE and then check in, enjoy Welcome Drink, receive cruise briefing, safety instructions and check in. Start cruising and explore Lan Ha Bay & Ha Long Bay.
12h40 MAYA CRUISE proceeds to Da Chong islet, where you can see a lighthouse built by the French over 100 years ago. Have lunch while passing via the islets. These amazing limestone karst formations rise up out of the sea in an impressive manner.
15h00 We progress to Tra Bau area of Lan Ha Bay- a separate part of Halong Bay. This is a quiet tourist paradise in Vietnam. You can try at kayaking or simply just enjoy a swim. This is a great experience, immersed in the crystal clear waters of the bay and enjoy free cocktail on Floating Bar.
17h30 Returning MAYA CRUISE, you can watch the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. Onboard you may join a traditional cooking class. Our chef will instruct you in the making of some Vietnam dishes. Enjoy sun set party and Happy Hour deal
19h30 Dinner is served. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by our wonderful onboard catering staff. This is a delightful meal in an intimate romantic setting
21h30 Enjoy the landscape of the bay at night up on the top deck. Relax whilst enjoying drinks from the bar. Try your hand at night squid fishing, watching a movie in the restaurant. Overnight on board. -
DAY 2: VIET HAI VILLAGE – LAN HA BAY
6h00 The day starts early onboard MAYA CRUISE with Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Coffee, tea and pastries for light breakfast are served in the dining room with morning view of bay’s landscape, then continue our journey
8h30 Transfer to day boat for visit Viet Hai village. You will take the bicycle trip along the village path and go through rain forests and dark tunnel. Enjoy stunning scenery of rice fields on the way. Stop at the village to relax. Visit an ancient local house, made from straw, mud, bamboo…you will have chance to see the local life on a valley of local people. Optional electric car service is available (at an extra cost). Back to day boat for visiting Lan Ha Bay. Lunch served on day boat.
13h30 We progress to Ba Trai Dao beach area of Lan Ha Bay- a separate part of Halong Bay. This is a quiet tourist paradise in Vietnam. The region is known for its pristine beaches and spectacular beauty, having about 400 fascinating islands. Unlike the main, Ha Long Bay, the islands of Lan Ha Bay are forested, and most are small in stature. You can try at kayaking or simply just enjoy a swim. This is a great experience, immersed in the crystal clear waters of the bay, in the Ba Trai Dao area. (if the weather permit).
16h00 Return to MAYA CRUISE. You will join a traditional cooking class. Our chef will instruct you in the making of some Vietnam dishes. Watch the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. Enjoy sun set party and Happy Hour deal
19h30 Dinner is served. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by our wonderful onboard catering staff. This is a delightful meal in an intimate romantic setting

DAY 3: LAN HA BAY – HANOI
06h00 Tai Chi session on the sundeck; after which we serve light breakfast. Upon completing breakfast continue our journey and head out in canoes to explore the bay in the area where the Toi Sang cave is situated.
9h30 Visit then return MAYA CRUISE for check-out procedures
10h00 Whilst cruising back you can enjoy a delightful brunch
11h35 We return to the quay side in the south of the bay, where our visitors disembark.
12h10 We bid farewell at Got port, this is the end of the program.
14h00 Back to your drop-off point in Hanoi. End of the trip

Policies
Deposit & Payment:
- A deposit of 30% of the tour price per person by credit card or bank transfer plus bank charges is required upon confirmation of your booking (if this amount is less than US$ 500, the full payment will be applied).
- The balance will be paid 15 days prior to the check in date, or you can pay us upon arrival in cash or credit card when we meet in Hanoi.
- Deposit or full payment could be settled via our secured online payment system (SSL).
Cancellation & Refund:
• Any changes / amendments to an existing booking shall be considered as a cancellation and a new booking shall be made. Penalty charges shall apply accordingly, based on the charge for each cancelled cabin as per the following percentages:
- For FIT booking (less than 5 cabins):
+ More than 15 days: No charge.
+ 10 to 15 days: 50% of total price.
+ 04 to 09 days: 70 % of total price.
+ Under 03 days: 100 % of total price.
+ No-Show: Will be charged in full.
- For GIT booking (from 06 cabins):
+ More than 30 days: No cancelation charge.
+ 15 to 29 days: 50 % of each cancelled cabins.
+ 6 to 14 days: 70 % of each cancelled cabins.
+ Under 6 days: 100% of each cancelled cabin.
• Cancellation must be sent to and confirmed by Vietnam Travel's cruise specialist in writing (by email or fax).
Child Policy (to be confirmed upon reservation and subject to availability):
- Free of charge for one child below the age of 5 years traveling with two adults. Limited one child
per cabin only.
- Children from 5 to below 11 years of age sharing a cabin with two adults on one bed are charged
at 75% of adult rate, limited to one child per cabin only.
Bad Weather Policy:
In the event the cruise is affected by bad weather, the cruise company reserves the right to cancel all or parts of their cruises services. Following charges may be applied:
- Cancellation before 11:00 o'clock at cruise date: Full refund for the cruise package but transportation will be charged (if any).
- Cruise is canceled and guests have meal (lunch) only (no cruise, no overnight, boat stays in the harbor): US$ 25 per person.
- Cruise is canceled and guests have meal (lunch) and round-trip transfer Hanoi - Got Ferry Pier only (no cruise, no overnight, boat stays in the harbor): US$ 25 per person + transportation.
- Day cruise (3-4 hours cruise, no overnight, lunch on boat): US$ 65 per person.
- Day cruise (3-4 hours cruise, no overnight, lunch on boat, round-trip transfer Hanoi - Got Ferry Pier): US$ 65 per person + transportation.
- Only for 3 day/2night cruise program:
• Complete 2 day/1 night cruise and back to shore before 10.00 A.M of day 2: the cruise rate of 2 day/ 1 night package is charged + transportation (if any).
• Complete 2 day/ 1 night cruise and use the day boat and back to shore before 17.00 of day 2: the cruise rate of 2 day/1 night is charged + US$65/pax
• 75% of the total price of 3 day/ 2 night cruise package is charged + transportation (if any).
Other Policies:
- Check-in time starts at 11:30 AM. Check-out by 12:00 AM.
- Charges for extra guests may apply and vary according to property policy.
- Advance registration is required with full name, date of birth, nationality, gender, passport number and visa expiry date for all passengers. A valid passport is required upon check-in. Otherwise, boarding may be denied by the port authority.
- A cash deposit, credit card or debit card for incidental charges and government-issued photo identification/ passport are required upon check-in.
- Special requests are subject to availability at the time of check-in. Special requests can't be guaranteed and may incur additional charges.
- Cruise itinerary is subject to change, with or without prior notice, depending upon tide and weather conditions.
- Promotion or Early Bird comes with tight booking conditions and they will be notified separately by Vietnam Travel.
- Surcharge for Christmas Eve (24 December) and New Year Eve (31 December) and Lunar New Year: US$ 30 per adult.
