Dragon’s Pearl Junk is the bigger cruise option for groups in the Indochina Junk family. The 3 Dragon’s Pearl boats were modeled on the traditional Chinese junks which sailed long ago.
The boat features 11 cabins and 3 decks with both outside and inside dining areas. Each cabin is beautifully decorated in a traditional style and equipped with modern amenities for a comfortable stay. Large sea view windows allow you to enjoy the fantastic landscape outside, from the comfort of your room. The sundeck on top will be a great place to view the bay at sunset and have an enjoyable time with your friends.
Whether you are dining in the restaurant, lounging on one of the 2 sundecks or relaxing in the comfort of your cabin, you will be surrounded by the handcrafted teak and oak fittings that make the Dragon’s Pearl such a wonderful sailing vessel.

Day 1: Hanoi – Drive to Bai Tu Long Bay
Leave Hanoi at 8:00 AM if you take the private transfer or from 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM if you take the shuttle bus and arrive in Halong Bay around 12:00PM (transportation service on your request).
10.20 – 10.30: Arrive at Yen Duc village
10.30 – 11.45: Relax and enjoy water puppet show. Have lunch in Yen Duc village.
12:00: Transfer from Yen Duc village to Halong Bay
13: 15 – 13:30: Embark at Hon Gai International harbor.
13:45 – 14:00: Check-in, enjoy welcome drink & cruise briefing.
14:00 – 16:45: Cruise to Cap La
17:00 – 18:00: Enjoy paddling around Cap La and Tra San by kayak.
18:00 – 18:15: Back to junk for relaxing.
19:00 – 21:00: Have dinner and overnight on board in Cong Do -
Day 2: Bai Tu Long Bay
07.30 – 08.00: Morning view of Bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast in the fresh air.
08.30 – 09.00: Start cruising to Cong Dam while discovering geological values of Bai Tu Long Bay.
09.00 – 11.00: Enjoy kayaking through the hidden lagoons and geological park in Cong Dam.
11.00 – 11.30: Back to junk for relaxing. Reach to Hon Co Island for swimming or relaxing.
12.00 – 13.30: Have a BBQ lunch on Beach (Depending on the availability and weather condition).
13.45 – 15.45: Explore the well- hidden Thien Canh Son cave.
16.00 – 17.30: Back to junk for relaxing while cruising to Cong Do. Enjoy kayaking through Cong Do and Thay cave area
19.00 – 21.00 : Have dinner & overnight on board. -
Day 3: Bai Tu Long Bay - Hanoi
07.30: Enjoy fresh air & gentle breeze of the bay in morning. Have breakfast on board.
07.30 – 08.45: Cruise to Vung Vieng fishing village.
09:00 : Visit Vung Vieng fishing village by a rustic row-boat, meet the local people and pass through the floating school and fish farms.
10.15 – 11.00: Check out of the cabin, start cruising towards the harbor. Have lunch on board.
12:30 – 13.00: Disembark at Hon Gai habor.
Guest who use shuttle bus will drive to Yen Duc village in Dong Trieu province for a short break in this typical Vietnamese agricultural village which is rich in culture and traditions. Enjoy water puppet show performed by local artists and arrive in Hanoi around 17:00 Trip ends.
Guest who use Private transfer will back to Hanoi directly and arrive to hotel in Hanoi around 3:30 PM. Trip ends.

Yen Duc is a beautiful Vietnamese village on the way from Halong Bay to Hanoi, which can provide many cultural experience and Vietnamese local life in rural area. Within 5 hours tour in this village, you can get a glimpse of village life and delicious Vietnamese cooking dinner.
The tour has included shuttle bus transfer with cruise, dinner in village, farming activities, water puppet show and English speaking tour guide during 5 hour tour in village.
12:00: Disembark from cruise at Hon Gai harbor and transfer to Yen Duc village.
13.30: Arrive in Yen Duc village, enjoy a water puppet show which performed by local artists. Cycling around the village to visit Canh Huong Pagoda then a local house in the village for a warm talking with the host. Policies
Deposit & Payment:
- A deposit of 30% of the tour price per person by credit card or bank transfer plus bank charges is required upon confirmation of your booking (if this amount is less than US$ 500, the full payment will be applied).
- The balance will be paid 15 days prior to the check in date, or you can pay us upon arrival in cash or credit card when we meet in Hanoi.
- Deposit or full payment could be settled via our secured online payment system (SSL).
Cancellation & Refund:
Any changes/amendments to an existing booking shall be considered as a cancellation and a new booking shall be made. Penalty charges shall apply accordingly, based on the charge for each cancelled cabin as per the following percentages:
• Cancellation will be charged as follow:
- From 1-2 cabins:
+ More than 5 days prior to the arrival: No charge.
+ From 2 to 5 days prior to the arrival: 50% of the total rate charged.
+ Less than 2 days prior to the arrival: 100% of the total rate charged.
+ No-Show: Will be charged in full.
- From 3-4 cabins:
+ For 2D1N program:
• More than 10 days prior to the arrival: No charge.
• From 7 to 10 days prior to the arrival: 25% of the total rate charged.
• From 2 to 6 days prior to the arrival: 50% of the total rate charged.
• Less than 2 days prior to the arrival: 100% of the total rate charged.
• No-Show: Will be charged in full.
+ For 3D2N program:
• More than 15 days prior to the arrival: No charge.
• From 10 to 15 days prior to the arrival: 25% of the total rate charged.
• From 2 to 9 days prior to the arrival: 50% of the total rate charged.
• Less than 2 days prior to the arrival: 100% of the total rate charged.
• No-Show: Will be charged in full.
- 5 cabins and over:
+ For 2D1N program:
• More than 30 days prior to the arrival: No charge.
• From 14 to 30 days prior to the arrival: 25% of the total rate charged.
• From 2 to 13 days prior to the arrival: 50% of the total rate charged.
• Less than 2 days prior to the arrival: 100% of the total rate charged.

+ For 3D2N program:
• More than 45 days prior to the arrival: No charge.
• From 20 to 15 days prior to the arrival: 25% of the total rate charged.
• From 3 to 19 days prior to the arrival: 50% of the total rate charged.
• Less than 2 days prior to the arrival: 100% of the total rate charged.
• No-Show: Will be charged in full.
• Cancellation must be sent to and confirmed by Vietnam Travel's cruise specialist in writing (by email or fax).
Child Policy:
- The FOC Rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults (No meals and extra Mattress).
- Children from 4-6 years old share a cabin with 2 adults: pays for meals only.
- Children under 12 years old with one extra bed: pays 75% of adult rate.
- Children under 12 years old stay in a separate cabin: pays 75% of adult rate per cabin + single charge (double occupancy sharing).
Other Policies:
- Check-in time starts at 12:30 PM. Check-out by 11:00 AM.
- Charges for extra guests may apply and vary according to property policy.
- Advance registration is required with full name, date of birth, nationality, gender, passport number and visa expiry date for all passengers. A valid passport is required upon check-in. Otherwise, boarding may be denied by the port authority.
- A cash deposit, credit card or debit card for incidental charges and government-issued photo identification are required upon check-in.
- Special requests are subject to availability at the time of check-in. Special requests can't be guaranteed and may incur additional charges.
